May walked around the room. She looked at the door, \u201cI think I just found our schedule!\u201d May said with excitement. They gathered around the schedule, May read,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c8:00 AM\u2014 Breakfast<br>9:00 AM\u2014chores<br>10:00 AM\u2014 Literature<br>11:00 AM\u2014Posture<br>12:00 AM\u2014 Lunch<br>1:00 PM\u2014History<br>5:30\u2014 Supper<br>6:00\u2014Rest\/Play<br>9:00\u2014Sleep<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cCool! Now we know what our days will look like, and it seems pretty light!\u201d  Rebeca said tiredly.\n    \u201cYeah!\u201d Maraline agreed, \u201cIt\u2019s 12:14, there is no school but they are still going to feed us. Let\u2019s get to the dinning hall before we\u2019re really late.\nThe girls quickly walked out of the old room and down the rickety wooden stairs and around a   nice, new couch in the back of the sitting room.\nThe girls knew something was off, but this time no one said anything.\nThey soon made it to the dinning hall.\nThere were about thirty girls already sitting around the table, staring at them.\n\u201cGirls you are late. It is not very ladylike to <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>keep us waiting.\u201d Mrs. Collines said angrily, \u201cPlease<br>see me after lunch.\u201d<br>\u201cMrs. Collines, we only just found our schedule,\u201d May argued.<br>\u201cNo excuses, I am in charge here, not you. Now sit down so we can eat.\u201d Mrs. Collines said.<br>May and her newfound friends sat down reluctantly.<br>For lunch they had delicious sandwiches and some salad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After lunch May, Jasmine, Maraline, and Rebeca followed Mrs. Collines to her office. It had a velvet couch, paintings on the perfect walls and a nice, smooth, large desk along one wall.       \n\u201cGirls, why were you late? It was very disrespectful.\u201d Mrs. Collines questioned,\n\u201cWe told you, we didn\u2019t find the schedule until it was too late!\u201d Rebeca said irritated, \n\u201cI gave you a paper with your schedule on it.\u201d\n\u201cThat was what that paper was!\u201d May gasped, \u201cI forgot all about it! I\u2019m sorry, I should have looked at it!\u201d \n\u201cYes, you should have, that was very, very irresponsible of you.\u201d she said with a smirk, \u201c You will be punished for this. The lot of you will be in charge of cleaning up after meals for a week.\u201d\nthe girls were shocked, \u201cIt was just a silly mistake!\u201d Maraline said, not understanding,\n\u201cSay that again and I\u2019ll make it two!\u201d\nthe girls walked out of the room sorrowfully. They went up stairs to their old, pealing, rickety bedroom, still wondering why Mrs. Collines disliked them so much.
