Chapter 1

One morning in America, May woke up to a startling sound.
“The train is almost here!” May thought; she dashed out of bed and pulled open her drawers, yanking a blue t-shirt and jeans out. May quickly threw on her clothes.
She jumped downstairs, pulled on her shoes, grabbed her suit case and ran out the door.

May ran the fastest she ever had in her life, dashing to the train station just in time as the train pulled to a stop.
“All aboard!” A man shouted from the platform. May hopped onto the train, handing her ticket to the man, and sat down.
May’s thoughts wandered to her home, and how her aunt had let her stay in her guest room on her way to boarding school; how her aunt was on a trip that very morning; and especially how her parents granted her wish to go to a non country school, but not in the way she intended.

“Hi,” a girl sitting in the seat in front of her said, “are you going to the Alexa boarding school?”
“Yeah, how did you know?” May answered,
“Just a guess. You’re about my age, and I’m going too. My name is Jasmine Parker, what’s yours?” The girl in front of her said in a out-going voice,
“It’s nice to meet you, Jasmine, I’m Mable Eline, but you can call me May. “I think it will be nice to know someone before we get there!” May said excitedly,
“I think so too!” Jasmine exclaimed, “What
room will you be in?”
“Room 9. What about you?”
Jasmine smiled widely, “Room 9.” The girls giggled.
“I wonder who else will be in our dorm-room.” May said curiously,
“Hey May, have you heard the rumors about the Alexa boarding school?” Jasmine whispered in a scared voice.
“What rumors?” May asked
“They say it has secret passages filled with people in a group called The Snatchers. They are said to take things like food, water, and other necessary items from the school and lock every body inside. One year, they ran out of food and supplies, some of the students tried to ran away from the school to find food, but the headmistress found them, and punished them severely.
