The Creek Path

Posted by

Caterpillars on dogwood trees,
Grass rustling in the fall breeze.
Beaver dames in the water clear,
Stinging Nettle gives a sneer.
Yellow flowers standing tall,
Pheasants making their loud call.
A ripple in the water,
Maybe a beaver or an otter.
Grasshoppers still in hiding lie,
Monarch Butterflies just passing by.
All this and more on just one creek path,
This makes me want to sing and laugh.

I loves to write stories and make crafts. When I grow up I want to be an author and work at a hospital.
